K-Box
Today I had my first taste of karaoke at K-Box in Melbourne. I didn't expect it to be set up the way it was. I'm so used to viewing those movies where there's a small crowd in a room and a stage with a screen showing the lyrics. I thought I had to stand up on stage or something. This was more like little couches surrounding a TV. I joined Ika, Boo Pit, Aya and Steve to test out the vocals. The song choices were endless and I can honestly say that I was the worst in the room. The also had international songs i.e. Aya could sing all her Jap classics. Ika also sang a few indo songs. The two guys managed to impress with their flawless vocals and then there was me... i managed to miss every line and ended up cancelling my song selection because i couldn't keep up lol... i sang Stan by Eminem... I chose the radio edit version and yet it still had swearing in it... i really don't understand lol... it put me off a bit coz i don't really swear recreationally... overall it was truly a great experience... i enjoyed it and recommend it for anyone... to be honest, karaoke is just about having fun... if you're not that good like me, you can still have heaps of fun... :)
